Obsessed with interiors since she was given free rein in decorating her bedroom as a young girl, interior designer Anna Straw owner of Anna’s Attic competed on BBC’s Great Interior Design Challenge back in 2017. Since then along with her husband, Anna has taken on the full renovation of her barn conversion in rural Lincolnshire. Anna was a 2019 finalist in the UK Interior Awards Room Revamp Category.
Anna’s online store Anna’s Attic stocks a wonderful range of design led wallpapers and wall murals. All produced in Europe to the highest standards using cutting edge technology. Anna also stocks a curated selection of eclectic homewares. The collection includes quirky new pieces as well as one off vintage finds. Along with luxe cycled one-off bespoke furniture pieces too. Anna’s ethos is that she will only ever list for sale something that she would be happy to have in her own home. Indeed, Anna will often use her home to display pieces from her homeware collection. And of course, uses the wallpapers and murals she stocks in her own home too.
More recently Anna has focussed on eco-friendly and sustainability within her designs. This has also led to Anna increasing her offering of vintage and pre loved pieces in her online store. Seeking out items with a previous life. Those which can be enjoyed once again. And for years to come.
With both private and commercial clients in her interior design portfolio Anna creates interesting spaces by injecting the personalities and interests of the people she works with.
Anna regularly blogs about all things interiors too. As well as chronicling the room by room renovation of her barn conversion mews she also shares design schemes and products she loves. As well as using the blog as a platform to showcase and support other independent businesses to her audience.
